This project leads to first open source implementation of GSM stack under Linux, so it tries to open one of the biggest secret of mobile phones manufacturers - baseband implementation.

Marcin Mielczarczyk is working as kernel developer in Tieto. He is experienced with various mobile phone platforms. His journey with embedded Linux began while porting uClinux to Philips set-top-box DSB6010. He is the author of first Linux port for Mediatek's MT623x mobile phone platform.
